VIRTUAL TRAINING OVERVIEW: COMPENSATION STRATEGY & PAY TRANSPARENCY 

How can CDFIs develop compensation practices that help attract and retain talent while balancing internal equity, market competitiveness, transparency, and financial realities? This interactive training will help you understand the building blocks of an effective compensation strategy and apply them within the context of your organization.

We’ll explore how to use market data to inform compensation decisions, establish and evaluate salary ranges and pay bands, balance internal equity with external competitiveness, and communicate your organization’s approach to compensation. You’ll also consider evolving expectations around pay transparency, job posting requirements, and how to navigate employee compensation questions consistently and effectively. Throughout the training, we’ll draw on practical examples and current industry data, including findings from OFN’s latest CDFI compensation study, to put these concepts into context.

You’ll come away with practical approaches for making and communicating compensation decisions—even when resources are constrained—and a clearer understanding of how to build compensation practices that work for your organization and its employees.

Location: This training will take place virtually via Zoom. Registrants will receive an email with an agenda, logistical details, and their unique Zoom access link from OFN's Development Services team a few days prior to the training.

Registration Fee: $140 per person for OFN Members; $215 per person for General/Non-Members.
