Poster Sessions and Networking on Gather Town
This year we're excited to announce that we will be including poster sessions, exhibitor booths, and networking spaces in a CSAE Conference Gather Town area. The area will be open from 10am-7pm (UK) throughout the conference.
You'll need to be registered for the conference in order to access the CSAE 2022 Gather Town space. The space will open at 10am on Monday 14 March 2022.
What will be happening in the CSAE2022 Gather Town space?
Daily Poster Sessions
When?
11-11:30 Monday and then 11:30 - 12:00 (GMT) Tuesday to Friday during the Conference.
Every morning (UK time), we'll have poster sessions covering all of the development economics topics of the conference with authors available to discuss their posters and the research behind them.

Networking spaces
When?
10:00-19:00 (GMT) every day during the Conference.
The CSAE2022 Gather Town space will be open from 10am-7pm (UK time) daily throughout the conference for participants to drop in and out of as they choose. You can chat to other attendees, catch up with speakers after their sessions, or have a meeting with a colleague. The possibilities are endless!
Exhibitor Booths
When?
11-11:30 Monday and then 11:30 - 12:00 (GMT) Tuesday to Friday during the Conference.
Every morning (UK time), exhibitor booths will be staffed in the Gather Town space with offers and interesting information available for all conference participants.
What is Gather Town and how does it work?
Gather Town (Gather) is an online social space where users create an avatar and roam around the virtual rooms talking to other users. The interactions use both audio and video to get as close to real life conversations as possible. You can talk in groups or have private conversations with one other person. There are lots of options!
How do I join the CSAE 2022 Gather Town space?
You can join the CSAE 2022 Gather Town space via the CSAE Conference 2022 App by clicking on the link on the home screen or through the poster session links in the programme.
When you join the space, you will find yourself in the main room (for socialising) and you can make your way to the poster/exhibitor room by following the white arrows.
