Every morning (UK time), exhibitor booths will be staffed in the Gather Town space with offers and interesting information available for all conference participants.
Africa Oxford Initiative
The Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx) is a cross-university platform with the vision to make Africa a strategic priority for the University of Oxford. The overarching aim of AfOx is to establish equitable, sustainable and impactful partnerships between researchers based in African institutions and colleagues at the University of Oxford. To enable effective partnerships that are genuinely co-developed, AfOx offers support for graduate scholarships, pump priming catalyst grants and visiting fellowships for researchers and innovators. The recently launched AfOx Health Innovation Platform supports emerging African innovators with skills Innovation and Entrepreneurship and networking opportunities to connect with industry and business partners. AfOx collaborations seek new breakthroughs in the fields of medical sciences, big data engineering, astrophysics, conserving environments and ecosystems, archaeology, preservation of ancient languages amongst other research areas.
