IFC Global Trade Partners Meeting

IFC held its first Global Trade Partners Meeting in Paris in 2007 to build and strengthen the relationships between the members of its Global Trade Finance Program (GTFP) partner banks. The conference was a huge success and subsequent such events, held in Washington DC, Dubai, Istanbul, Lisbon, Milan, and Barcelona, have been just as well-received.

Leveraging IFC’s extensive footprint and client base in emerging markets, the Global Trade Partners Meeting is one of the few truly global trade finance events. Over 350 delegates from 57 countries representing 130 institutions attended the most recent conference held in 2024 in Barcelona.

IFC will host its next Global Trade Partners Meeting on March 24-26 in Lisbon

The event will feature a two-day program of internationally renowned speakers and panelists providing analysis and insights about the global trade arena, as well as ample opportunities to network and develop new business relationships. The conference will close with its traditional Gala Awards Dinner, recognizing IFC’s high-performing trade finance partners.
