Please join us in Chicago for the System Community Development Research Conference, hosted in-person at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago on September 23-24, 2026. The purpose of the conference is to advance research on the economic conditions of low-and moderate-income populations and places in the United States by providing a space for FRS staff to share and receive feedback on ongoing research.

To maximize opportunities for feedback and discussion of research, all staff in Community Development functions across the Federal Reserve System are encouraged to attend the conference. Even if you do not have a formal speaking role as a presenter, discussant, or panelist, we want CD staff to attend to contribute to discussions about the research shared at the conference (including both methodology of and communication about the research).

Due to limited space, economists and professionals outside of the Community Development functions are invitation only.

Please register for the event by using the Register Now button above.
