VIRTUAL CDFI FINANCIAL STATEMENTS 101 OVERVIEW
This interactive, half-day training is designed to help anyone working in or alongside CDFI loan funds build practical skills and confidence in reading and interpreting CDFI financial statements.
Through hands-on activities and guided walkthroughs, you’ll explore how to read a balance sheet and income statement, understand key financial terms and line items, and connect financial information to an organization’s operations, sustainability, and decision-making. You’ll also learn how to spot important trends, see how financial statements fit together, and better understand what they reveal about a CDFI’s financial health, capacity, and sustainability.
This training is ideal for CDFI practitioners across departments—as well board members and partners—who are new to reading financials or looking to deepen their foundational knowledge. No prior finance or accounting experience required.
For CDFI practitioners and mission-driven lenders seeking deeper training on CDFI enterprise risk management, we recommend checking out our full-day Financial Management Workshop.
