All presenters must register by end of day July 10, regardless of the extended public early bird deadline.

We highly encourage anyone considering attending the conference to book accommodations now! For details on the IADMS room block visit the Attendee Information page. 

There is a sporting event happening at the same time as the IADMS conference in Melbourne. Reserve accommodations with flexible cancelation policies.  

IADMS reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to make changes to the conference program, including but not limited to: Program Agenda, Faculty, Platform.

Presentation Content Due: Aug 21, 2026- You will submit your content to the Speaker Resource Center. Guidelines and information linked in the SRC and listed below in AV Information and Content Details.

Speaker Resource Center: The Speaker Resource Center (SRC) is for all presenters and co-presenters only (not non-presenting co-authors) to manage their participation. The site is open for presenters to update their profiles that appear on the conference program. SRC Link: https://cvent.me/NOABbg.

For clarification: By accepting you confirm in-person attendance for the 4-day conference. We will not be making program adjustments to accommodate late arrivals or early departures.

For those on the  alternates list:

  • Travel and availability: We understand that booking international travel can be a challenge. If you wish to be removed from the alternate list at this time, please inform us immediately so we can adjust our records.
  • Notification timeline: We will reach out to you directly as soon as a spot comes up. We aim to reach out to all alternates with a final update by July 17. (The early bird/presenter registration will close on July 10. Staff and the committee will need time to see where gaps are, if any, in the program then will contact alternates). If you are selected as an alternate you will still receive a presenter discount; we will refund you the 20% if you have already registered.

Presentation Spaces

Please use the campus map above to familiarize yourself with the session locations. To help you prepare, here is a breakdown of our presentation spaces and their setups (photos coming soon):

  • Hanson Dyer Hall & Federation Hall
    • Setup: Dedicated lecture/panel.
    • Equipment: Fully equipped with standard audiovisual (AV) support (PPT, microphone, live-stream/recording).
  • Dance Studio 1 & 2
    • Setup: Dedicated movement space.
    • Equipment: No AV equipment is provided in this space; please plan your session accordingly. 
  • Martyn Myer Arena
    • Setup: Configured specifically for roundtable discussions and interactive sessions.

Joint Accreditation Statement

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Amedco LLC and The International Association for Dance Medicine & Science. Amedco LLC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Physicians

Amedco LLC designates this live activity for a maximum of 27.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Athletic Trainers

Amedco is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers (ATs). This program is eligible for a maximum of 27.00 Category A hours/CEUs. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program.

Physical Therapists/Physiotherapists & Other Allied Healthcare Professionals

To receive the certificate of completion and number of CEUs, allied healthcare professionals are responsible for completing the post-conference survey from our accrediting provider, Amedco, LLC. Attendees must submit all required documents to their respective agencies for various CEU credits.

International CME Accreditation

The American Medical Association has determined that physicians not licensed in the US who participate in this CME activity are eligible for 27.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. ACCME / AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ carry reciprocity with EACCME member countries and most international licensing bodies for physicians, with some exceptions. Physicians should check with their country/board for eligibility.

The UEMS-EACCME and the AMA has a signed agreement of mutual recognition of CME credits between Europe and USA for live and e-learning activities. A list of active collaborations can be found here:

CONFEMEL (Confederación médica latinoiberoamericana y del caribe) is the organization that represents and is made up of all the titular medical institutions with national representation, the founding institutions and the adherents of the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. The countries of Latin America and the Caribbean within the scope of the agreement between UEMS-EACCME® , CONFEMEL and CGCOM-SEAFORMEC will be divided byregions for the operation of CONFEMEL, being the same: Andean Region: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela; Central American and Caribbean Region: Costa Rica, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, El Salvador, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Panama and Puerto Rico, among others; South Region: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. The EACCME® shall grant ECMEC® credits to National events taking place in Latin America and organised by Latin American providers part of or belonging to CONFEMEL. The applications related to National events shall be submitted through the SEAFORMEC/SMPAC platform for accreditation according to the agreement entered into between UEMS-EACCME® and CGCOM.
