Leveraging expert testimony and scientific evidence in causation and damage
|The unpredictability and suddenness of environmental events can bring devastation to communities and the industries that support them. Please join DLA Piper lawyers as they host the Environmental and Catastrophic Events Webinar Series, where participants will learn how environmental conditions and regulatory scrutiny are reshaping the legal landscape – and what companies can do to prepare. DLA Piper lawyers will provide practical guidance on managing exposure before, during, and after events such as wildfires, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, and more.
In this final program of the series, DLA Piper lawyers will examine how technical experience and scientific data can be used to establish causation and quantify damage in environmental litigation. DLA Piper lawyers will discuss best practices for selecting and preparing experts, presenting complex evidence effectively, and navigating challenges to admissibility in high-stakes cases.
We look forward to seeing you there.
