Common App Direct Admissions: Counselor updates and resources

In an effort to simplify and streamline the admissions process, Common App Direct Admissions provides proactive college admission offers to qualified students before they apply. Last year, over 400,000 first-generation, and low- and middle-income students received at least one offer of direct admission from 71 participating colleges.

During the 2024-2025 application cycle, Common App will begin sending direct admission offers to qualifying students in mid-September and will continue extending offers to newly eligible students throughout the application cycle.
