Volunteer - Magnolia Apartments

We are so excited to be able to move tenants into their new home and we need your help.

Magnolia Apartments is a new 41 unit supportive affordable apartment community located at 49 Queen Street North here in Kitchener. Tenants will begin moving in beginning mid-March and we are excited to welcome them to their new home! 

The team at Indwell's Magnolia Apartments are looking forward to meeting and working alongside you to make dreams become a reality for new tenants.

• HOW TO VOLUNTEER
  Please select a date and time below that works with your schedule. Complete the online form below. Complete the Volunteer Waiver. Volunteer roles are filled on a first-come first-served basis. We will follow back up with you to confirm your participation and share any essential information.
  
  • WHO CAN VOLUNTEER
    We welcome volunteers of all experience and skills. This is a great opportunity for groups of friends, work colleagues, church groups and families to practically help people in our community.
    
    
  • WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
    You will be assisting with some light appliance set up, furniture assembly and cleaning in the new apartments. There is also a need to help a few tenants move into their new homes.
    
    
  • WHAT TO BRING
    If you have common tools like screwdrivers, Allen keys, hammers, etc. please bring them. Hard hats and steel-toed footwear may also be required as the building is not quite finished. If you have those items, please bring them. If not, we will provide these items.
    
    
  • PARKING
    There is currently no parking available on site. There is limited street parking around our building as well as a number of pay lots within two blocks of Magnolia Apartments.

      • Duke St. Parking at 41 Duke St W, Kitchener, ON N2H 4Y3 and
      • Standard Parking at 22 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2H 2L3.
