Recognize the Signs & Know Your Numbers
You’re invited to a FREE powerful, interactive virtual program designed to increase health literacy. Every day, thousands of lives are silently threatened by conditions that could have been caught sooner if only they knew the signs. Chronic diseases like Hypertension, Diabetes, Stroke, Heart Disease, and Multiple Myeloma are rising at alarming rates, disproportionately and devastatingly impacting our most vulnerable and underrepresented communities.
In honor of National Blood Cancer Awareness Month, Recognize the Signs & Know Your Numbers is a powerful, interactive virtual experience designed to transform community health literacy, inspire preventive action, and save lives.
Program Objectives
■ Recognize the Signs: Empower attendees to identify critical warning signs linked to specific health conditions and feel confident seeking timely screenings and follow-up care.
■ Know Your Numbers: Help attendees understand CBC lab results connected to specific conditions and prepare targeted questions for life-saving conversations with their primary care providers.
■ Build a Family Health History: Guide attendees in creating a personalized family health history assessment that supports informed screening discussions, addresses cultural barriers and myths, and builds a legacy of health awareness for future generations.
