What To Expect

During this Showcase, you will have the opportunity to:

  • See STEM learning in action through hands-on experiences featuring PLTW courses, including Principles of Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, and Cybersecurity, from engineering design and prototyping to automation, AI, and data protection.
  • Hear directly from students and educators about their experiences with PLTW programs and project-based learning. 
  • Explore connections between education and workforce needs and how students can develop the skills needed for future education and career opportunities. 
  • Connect with education, industry, and community leaders who share an interest in strengthening the region's STEM and workforce pipeline. 
  • Learn more about the regional vision and the role the BEA Applied STEM Institute can play in expanding STEM opportunities throughout Eastern Idaho.
