Description

Attendees must attend all 3 sessions in order to receive a Certificate of Training

The risk assessment process determines the degree to which key risk and safety factors are present in a family situation. This training looks at how to identify those factors and how to interpret them in the context of providing post-permanency services. The training will also look at how to use FACES III. The training will cover incorporating all the information gained from the assessment – including CAFAS and JIFF– into the SWAN Post-Permanency Family Support Plan.

Agenda:

Day One: Introduction of Assessment Tools, FACESIII, CAFAS, JIFF demonstration (Must complete CAFAS training prior to attendance)

Day Two: PA Risk Assessment

Day Three: Interviewing, Home Safety Assessment, Child Safety Assessment, Parent Questionnaire
