San Jose Airport (SJC) depart after 5:00pm PST
San Francisco Airport (SFO) depart after 7:00pm PST

For the CAST program, vans will be rented to transport participants to/from Intuitive and the Oakwood Property each day. On the evenings and weekends the vans can be used to run errands. The vans are shared between 1 van driver and 4 passengers. To be a volunteer van driver you can sign-up when you register. Driver information and van group assignments will be sent out 1 week before arrival.

For Volunteer Drivers Only: Avalon Transportation will provide your airport pick-up at either San Francisco Airport, San Jose Airport, or Oakland Airport. Confirmation for your Airport arrival transportation will be sent 1 week before arrival.  Avalon Transportation will have your van keys and will have you sign-off on your vehicle once you are dropped off at the Oakwood. Your van will be located at the Oakwood property upon arrival. You will use your van groups until the last day of the program. On the last day of the program, you will leave the vans at ISI and use Lyft for your airport departure. If you would like to be a volunteer driver, please sign up when you register. Assigned volunteer drivers and van groups will be sent out 1 week before arrival. 

All other Participants: You will use Lyft for your arrival and departure transportation. Your Lyft code is “CAST4CTAOB”. The code is only good for transportation to/from the airports SJC, SFO, OAK. For all other transportation you will use your van groups. Assigned volunteer drivers and van groups will be sent out before you arrive.

Oakwood Mountain View

Hotel room and tax is billed directly to Intuitive.  Arrival instructions will be emailed out to you from the Oakwood 1 week prior to your arrival

A room has already been reserved for you! No need to book a hotel. Everyone will be staying at the Oakwood in Mt. View (20 min. from the office).  Everyone will be sharing a 2-bedroom apartment with roommates. Each roommate will have their own private bedroom and bathroom with a shared common area. A roommate preference can be listed when you register. 

CAST will provide lunch, snacks and beverages during the program.  Breakfast, dinner and weekend meals should be expensed on your Company Amex, per our company policy. After CAST is over, you will be responsible for submitting an expense report for reimbursement of those expenses not billed directly to Intuitive.

Save receipts for the following:

• Hotel Incidentals (room & tax billed directly to Intuitive)
• Meal Receipts (With the exception of lunch, snacks & beverages on campus). Receipts must be itemized.
• Fuel Receipts (Volunteer drivers only)

The dress code is business casual for CAST.   This means no jackets or ties required. Jeans and other casual attire are not permitted. We will also have dedicated scrub days.  You will be informed on what days you should be wearing your scrubs.  You will be provided with scrubs, please bring comfortable shoes.
