Shine on Norlin

A Community Celebration of CU Boulder’s 150th Anniversary

Shine on Norlin is a signature event celebrating CU Boulder’s 150th anniversary and the debut of a large-scale light show projection on the west face of Norlin Library. Shine on Norlin is a canvas for the CU Boulder community to tell its stories. Through student artwork, historic imagery, video, music, research, innovation, performances, and creative storytelling, the installation will highlight the people, moments, discoveries, and traditions that have shaped the university over the past 150 years while looking boldly toward its future.

Join us on Thursday, October 1, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. for an evening festival on Norlin Quad featuring free food (limited quantity), interactive activities, performances, community engagement, and remarks from university leadership, culminating in the premiere of the projection-mapping show.

Following the debut, projections will continue nightly at dusk throughout October,  approximately  6:00–9:00 p.m.
