In 2022, IASA launched a first-of-its-kind leadership Professional Learning Community (PLC) called Level UP. Designed as a two-year experience, the PLC brings together Assistant Superintendents and other Central Office administrators from across Illinois to connect with peers, engage in meaningful dialogue, and explore timely topics impacting school leadership today.
The response to this initiative has been incredibly positive, and we are excited to launch our next Level UP PLC for 2026–2028. While the core content will remain consistent with what has made the program successful, we are also incorporating several new elements to continue strengthening the experience for participants.
The sessions will be hosted at the IASA office in Springfield, with one meeting planned offsite to allow the PLC to visit and learn from a host district. This site visit has proven to be a valuable way for participants to see innovative practices in action.
Program Structure:
Day (1) will begin as a late afternoon session
Day (2) full day of training
- Year 1: Four in-person PLC meetings at the IASA office in Springfield.
- Year 2: Three additional sessions at the IASA office in Springfield with one offsite meeting for a site visit.
PD Hours will be awarded for each session date you attend.
