Cultivating at the Confluence: Where Ideas Come Together
Located at the historic confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers, St. Louis is a place where different currents unite. Like these branching rivers, garden education flows in many directions and bridges landscapes, communities, and generations. Join educators, community leaders, and public garden advocates at APGA’s 2026 Education Symposium for three days of collaboration, exploration, and innovation. Explore how garden-based education fosters student engagement, environmental stewardship, and community connections and celebrate the diverse pathways through which gardens nurture lifelong learners and strengthen communities – one conversation, one plant, and one “aha!” moment at a time.
