Welcome to Convergence 2026, the must-attend event for the alternative reinsurance, convergence, and insurance-linked securities community.

This year, we return to the elegant Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club, set against the stunning backdrop of Bermuda – the world’s leading jurisdiction for ILS.  With its powerful combination of insightful content and meaningful connections, Convergence continues to be the place where industry leaders, investors, and innovators meet, exchange ideas, and shape the future of the market.

Who is an end investor?
The criteria for an end investor is defined as those who bear the investment risk. Specifically:

  1. End investors are those who are not paid a fee to allocate capital directly to insurance linked transactions
  2. Generally they will be paying fees rather than receiving it
  3. They are considered the "risk bearer" in the investment relationship

Examples of end investors include family offices, pension funds, or asset managers that allocate directly into an ILS vehicle.

If you are an intermediary or manager who is paid a fee to allocate capital directly to individual transactions, this does not qualify you as an end investor.
