This 3-day course includes more advanced information for medical practitioners. This program is academically more rigorous than the Radiation Emergency Medicine course and is primarily for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and nurses desiring an advanced level of information on the diagnosis and management of ionizing radiation injuries and illnesses. It is an instructive course with some hands-on activities. Group problem-solving is used to emphasize the management of complex cases.  Recent completion of the Radiation Emergency Medicine (REM) course is strongly recommended.

This course is held in Oak Ridge, Tennessee at the REAC/TS facility at 1299 Bethel Valley Road, Bldg. SC-1.

Credits: ORISE designates this live activity for 19.5 ACCME AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
