STUDENTS READ CAREFULLY:  NSBP/NSHP will support up to 400  students with airline travel  and hotel accommodations (roommates will be assigned or you may indicate on your travel form your roommate of choice.  First come first serve.  Local students are invited to stay in the conference hotel during the event.  No refunds will be issued once your flight has been purchased.  All students will be roomed in double-occupancy rooms.   No Travel Support will be provided to students located outside the continental U.S. and U.S. Territories (U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Guam) - NO EXCEPTIONS.   Check your emails regularly for communications about travel!  Student travel forms will be sent to each student's confirmation email.  Forms should be submitted within 72 hours of receipt. Flight bookings will begin in July.  If you name a preferred roommate, please be sure your roommate is registered when you submit your travel form. Students will be booked by the conference at either the Residence Inn by Marriott Downtown Raleigh or the Raleigh Marriott City Center.  Please review and acknowledge the Student Travel Guidelines before you register for the conference.  NSBP will arrange travel and accommodations.  NSBP WILL NOT reimburse for independent bookings of flights or hotel accommodations.

Cancellation Policy:  Registration cancellations should be done through the original registration confirmation email.    Credit card processed cancellations are subject to a processing fee.  No refunds will be issued after registration ends or travel funds have been applied.

Abstract Submissions

The Abstract Submission Portal is now open for submissions.  We invite all participants to submit an abstract to present a poster or give an oral talk at the conference.

Decision Deadline - October 20th (last day to make changes)

We welcome abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations from all areas of physics. Anyone who plans to attend the conference must physically be in attendance to present their research. See Abstract and Poster Presentation Guidelines.

Conference registration is required to access the abstract submission portal. The link to submit will be on the registration confirmation email.  Please do not share the link with other individuals who have not registered.  Abstracts submitted that can't be linked to a registration will be rejected.  To submit an abstract:

  • Once you click the link, you will need to create an account to submit your abstract. Use an email address and password to create the CVENT account.
