MSACL 2026 Montréal

Mission

MSACL's mission is to support the community in Translating Pre-Clinical Research to Clinical Patient Care.

Meeting Focus

MSACL is focused on providing a forum of interaction for participants in all stages of the development, advancement and use of analytical tools, including data analytics, in the clinic to improve patient care. Although the group primarily focuses on mass spectrometry, presentations and discussion on other analytical platforms are welcome.

Location Overview

The event will center at the Hotel Bonaventure in Montreal, CANADA.

We will be using the St Laurent Ballroom as the Exhibit Hall (20,140 square feet). There is space for up to 42 booths interspersed with over 180 posters. The Scientific Sessions will be centered around the Montreal Ballroom, adjacent to the Exhibit Hall.

We are expecting 600-700 attendees.

Program Overview

Oct 04 (Sun) : Short Courses start at 8:40am.

Oct 05 (Mon) : Short Courses from 8:30am - 6:00pm.

Oct 06 (Tue) : Short Courses, Industry &  Academic Workshops, Award Plenaries, Opening Exhibit Reception.

Oct 07 (Wed) : Industry Workshops, Plenary Session, Scientific & Practical Training Sessions, Poster Sessions, Exhibits, Discussion Groups.

Oct 08 (Thu) : Discussion Groups, Scientific & Practical Training Sessions, Poster Sessions, Exhibits, Poster Awards.

Oct 09 (Fri) : Mount Royal Kondiaronk Belvedere Walk-Jog Challenge (7-9am). Closing breakfast seminar series (9-11am)

Short Courses (Pre-Con)

Pre-Con Short Course registration ends on  September 14.

MSACL is planning to offer up to 16 pre-con short courses,  These courses are fee-based. Individuals MUST register for the conference in order to register for a short course. Courses that do not have at least 8 registrants by the regular registration deadline may be cancelled.

Cancellation

Cancellations receive:

• By August 22: a 90% refund, ONLY if no abstract accepted, otherwise 0% refund.
• August 23 - September 05 : a 50% refund, ONLY if no abstract accepted, otherwise 0% refund.
• After September 05 : No refund.

Conference Cancellation due to Administrative Discretion or Force Majeure : Full Refund ONLY for registrations that are not cancelled prior to official conference cancellation notice.
