Webinar Summary
What nonverbal cues can tip you off that a violent attack is about to occur? Despite training based on anecdotes, social scientists are only now beginning to test the validity of nonverbal cues associated with impending physical violence, both on the street and within hospital environments. In this webinar, we will discuss the current research on what nonverbal cues are predictive of violence, and which are not. Attendees will also be provided with information about the specific research studies to cite if reliance on these nonverbal cues is later challenged in court or in a community forum.
