Meeting Highlights
- Keynote Presentation: Strategic Luck
Is luck a coincidence, a twist of fate, or just a gift that some are simply born with? Jonathan Brill, international bestselling author and scholar on decision making, will debunk the myth that luck is fate. Based on the largest study on decision-making under uncertainty, Brill will describe the four simple skills needed to create strategic luck from scratch — in any situation. - Emerging Leaders Sponsored Speaker
Sachin Shivaram, chief executive officer of Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry, will present strategies on how to lead and think about building a great business. The presentation will include lessons on leadership, career growth, and culture. - Educational Seminar
Industry experts from Henkel, Sherwin-Williams, and AZZ Precoat will lead an educational seminar on pretreatment, paint, and the coil coating process. Designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of prepainted metal, the session will explore key fundamentals and feature case studies focused on the appliance and HVAC markets. The seminar is scheduled for Mon., Sept. 22 from 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. - Technical Presentations & Plant Tour
The technical presentations include the following topics: PVDF for coil coatings, color science, decarbonization, powder-applied coil coating, and creative packaging and automation.
A tour of the Steel Dynamics plant in Jeffersonville is scheduled for Wednesday morning. - The Annual Trade Show
Our trade show, the industry networking event of the year, opens on Monday, Sept. 22, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Join your industry colleagues for hors d’oeuvres, refreshments, and displays of the latest industry products and services.
Special Discount for First-Time Attendees (Full Members Only)
NCCA is pleased to offer a 50% discount ($340) on registration fees for first-time attendees. Eligible attendees would be company employees who have not had an opportunity to attend a previous in-person NCCA meeting. These first-time attendees would be in addition to the company representatives that normally attend the meetings. As you are aware, NCCA meetings offer a great opportunity for employees to learn more about coil coating in addition to networking with peers to establish those important industry relationships. **This offer is not available to prospective members or associate members.**
