The Physicians Sunshine Act requires that manufacturers report transfers of value to the physicians (such as educational programs, meals, etc.) to the Federal Government. The report includes identifying information about the physicians, including their name, business address, specialty, NPI and license number, the nature and amount of the transfer, and any explanatory details.
