Former U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander will sit down with New York Times chief Washington correspondent Carl Hulse for a conversation about Alexander’s New York Times bestselling memoir, The Education of a Senator: From JFK to Trump.
The conversation will explore leadership, bipartisanship, the changing character of American politics, and Alexander’s perspective on the institutions and individuals that have shaped modern Washington.
This event is part of Dialogue Vanderbilt’s 250 Conversations on America: Civil Discourse in Action, a yearlong series celebrating our nation’s 250th anniversary and Vanderbilt’s enduring commitment to open dialogue.
