IBARMS November 20, 2026 Meeting

Welcome to IBARMS second meeting for 2026-27 to be held on November 20 at Adams 12 Training Center, 1500 E 128th Avenue, Thornton, CO 80241

At this meeting we want to extend a special invitation to invite a teacher from your school.  We want more of our educators to be part of our IB regional association to see what we do!  

We will welcome Shawn Reed Parsons, Past President of IBARMS.   

IB Coordinators are tasked with developing pedagogical elements of our programmes, fostering teacher learning and collaboration, and supporting ongoing professional development, yet many of us have never led a coaching conversation or taught adults, let alone our peers.  Whether you work with teachers one on one, in small groups, or as a whole staff, leading a conversation or training with curiosity, care, and compassion makes a difference.  Join us as we share strategies for working with staff.

The meeting will be face to face at Adams 12 Training Center in Thornton.  We will also be offering participation through a Zoom link.

The meeting will begin with a general session at 10:00-11:30 for all levels.  It will be followed by lunch until 12:15 and then to program level breakout sessions until 2:00.

You will need to register for the meeting, even if you paid the membership fee so we have an accurate count for lunch.  We encourage in person participation if possible.  If you need to join by Zoom, please note that in your registration and we will send you the Zoom link prior to the meeting.  Please understand that the level breakout sessions are developed for in person participation,  so you may miss some of the conversations (but the level reps will do the best they can).

 You need to be a member of IBARMS in order to attend the meeting in  person or virtually.
