ABOUT

This eLearning module provides a walk-through of the Secure Communications Portal. The Secure Communications Portal was created as a secure method for the NYISO’s Market Mitigation and Analysis (MMA) department and Market Participants (MPs) to communicate confidential information. This communication flow allows MPs to create consultation requests to engage with the NYISO’s MMA team. Through this portal, MPs and the NYISO’s MMA can communicate more fluidly with one another, submitting documentation, and adding comments to consultation requests.  

Mission Statement

The Market Training team’s mission is to provide NYISO market and project implementation training and education to stakeholders and NYISO employees, for the purpose of supporting the NYISO’s mission to serve the public interest and provide benefit to consumers.

Any confidential information received by the NYISO from visitors to this website will be treated in accordance with the NYISO's responsibilities under its Tariffs, including its Code of Conduct set forth in Attachment F to the Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT) and Section 6, Confidentiality, of the Market Administration and Control Area Services Tariff (MST). Both the OATT and MST are available on the NYISO's website.
