Celebrate our sweethearts as we crown the woman who will serve as the international representative and voice for chapter sweethearts across North America, helping unite and support them in their roles within the Fraternity. The International Sweetheart also champions Sigma Chi’s philanthropic and social efforts while representing the women who contribute to the life, spirit, and success of Sigma Chi.

Join brothers and guests on a warm, festive summer evening outside as we honor the legacy of our founders and embrace the bright future ahead. As Chancellor, Nies leads the strategic vision and direction of the University of Minnesota Duluth, overseeing academic and student affairs, administration, public relations, and community engagement while advancing the University’s mission of accessible, world-class education. He brings more than 30 years of experience in higher education as both an administrator and instructor, with expertise in leadership, organizational theory, and student development.
