The Modular Hydronic & Steam - Operations and Maintenance Fundamentals course provides an in-depth classroom and hands-on program focused on ClearFire products and a overview of the SwitchFire solution.

The objective of the course is to cover specific boiler models related to design, construction, their control characteristics, both mechanical and electrical, the control wiring, supporting accessories, water treatment, installation, boiler tuning, and basic of troubleshooting. We will also cover hydronic piping systems, how to differentiate, advantages and disadvantages, and common problems that occur with improperly piped systems.

After this course you will be able to perform the following tasks:

• Know C-B Modular Hydronic & Steam products proper use and implementation.
• Perform a tune-up in a ClearFire boiler.
• Navigate the Falcon screens and set-up the parameters.
• Set-up the Falcon lead/ lag system and communications to BMS
• Read wiring diagram for the Clearfire Family of boilers.
• Gained exposure to the SwitchFire boiler.
• Have knowledge of hot water system, different piping systems utilized, and identifying system issues
• HxO operation and maintenance
