George Chiu, Internal Audit, VIAVI Solutions
George Chiu is the Head of Internal Audit at Viavi Solutions, with more than 20 years of experience leading global audit, SOX compliance, and risk management programs. He is passionate about helping Internal Audit evolve beyond traditional assurance activities through the use of data analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence to deliver deeper insights and stronger business outcomes.
Throughout his career, George has led cross-functional teams across finance, IT, and business operations, with a focus on talent development, innovation, and continuous improvement. He enjoys sharing practical perspectives on the future of Internal Audit, AI adoption, and workforce transformation.
Outside of work, George serves as the Chief Activities Officer for his wife and three children. Whether experimenting in the kitchen or competing in family board games, he brings the same curiosity and energy to home life that he brings to Internal Audit.
