New England Chapter of the WOCN® Society Annual Conference

This annual regional conference brings together WOCN® members to collaborate for a two-day educational event. The program is designed to provide evidence-based knowledge of the latest techniques, applications and treatments related to wound, ostomy, and continence issues. 

The New England Chapter of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society (New England Chapter WOCN®) is an association of WOC/ET Nurses, a division of the National Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse’s Society (WOCN®). 

The New England Chapter is the local affiliate for Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.

earn up to 9.5 continuing education credits.

Attendees can earn contact hours attending educational tracts that include Wound Care, Ostomy Care, Continence Care, Foot Care, and Professional Practice. Note: One hour of lecture content is equal to one contact hour.

This program is appropriate for Advanced Practice Nurses, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Physical Therapists,
and Wound, Ostomy, and Continence/Enterostomal Therapy Nurses.

Objectives for the New England Chapter of the WOCN® Society Annual Conference

1. Disseminate research and evidence based knowledge of the latest techniques, applications, technologies and treatments related to wound, ostomy and continence issues to impact patient outcomes.
2. Strengthen the leadership role of the WOC nurse through education, advocacy, research, marketing and legislation. 
3. Encourage networking with colleagues to foster an integrated community of health care providers to improve outcomes for patients across the continuum of care. 
4. Describe examples of evidence based practice and multidisciplinary approaches to improve outcomes in various health care settings.

New England Chapter Conference 2026 - Funding Support Scholarship

Your board has allocated funds to attend our 50th Anniversary New England Chapter Conference (NEC) on October 1-3, 2026. 

New England Chapter will be funding 4 awards:

• Two scholarship awards for first time attendees.
• Two scholarship awards for returning attendees.
• Each recipient of this funding will receive a 50% discount on registration and one complimentary night of hotel accommodation.

Criteria:

• WOCN® Society Membership at time of application.
• Agreement to be listed on the New England Chapter website as a recipient of the funding.
• Deadline for submission: September 1st, 2026.
