Who Should Attend?

This virtual conference is a must-attend event for ADHC program directors, nursing home administrators, nursing staff, social workers, activities professionals and adult day health care staff who are looking to enhance their knowledge, elevate their registrants’ experience and improve their organizations.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Provider Member: Voluntary, not-for-profit, and governmental organizations operating within the state of New York providing care, housing and services for the aging and special needs populations that are members in good standing of the Adult Day Health Care Council (ADHCC) and/or LeadingAge New York.

Provider Non-Member: Not-for-profit organizations or for-profit companies providing care, housing and services for the aging and special needs populations that are not members of ADHCC and/or LeadingAge New York.

Registration fee includes one (1) virtual connection for the person registered. Connections links are unique to each registrant and cannot be shared.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Check payments can be accommodated when necessary, however; registrations will not be complete until payment is received. Full payment must be received before the start of the event to ensure participation and access to online materials.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations received 7 days prior to the start of the program are refundable, less a 25 percent administrative fee. Those who are registered and cancel after that date or do not attend the event will not receive refunds and are still responsible for payment in full if not already paid.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT

Generic Certificates of Attendance are awarded upon request and verification of hours attended. Certificates will be sent via email approximately 30 days following the program. 

Licensed Nursing Home Administrators

This program is sponsored by The Foundation for Long Term Care (FLTC), the educational affiliate of LeadingAge New York. The FLTC is a certified sponsor of professional continuing education with the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB). This program has been submitted for Continuing Education for 4.5 total participant hours from NAB/NCERS. State licensure boards, however, have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses. Credit is awarded upon request and verification of the hours attended. Attendance is reported directly to NAB within 30 days of the program. Certificates will be available via your NAB CE Registry.

Licensed Social Workers

LeadingAge New York, Inc., SW CPE is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s (NYSED) State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers. This conference offers up to 2.25 contact hours of continuing education for Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW). Credit is awarded upon request and verification of hours attended. Credit certificates will be sent via email approximately 30 days following the program. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO PARTICIPATE

This program will be hosted via Zoom Meeting. Please take the following steps in advance to ensure that you will be able to participate.

• Ensure you have a high-speed internet connection.
• Connect using a laptop computer OR a desktop computer with speakers or headphones.
• A camera and microphone are recommended, but not required for participation. 
• Download Zoom if it is not already installed on your computer, and sign-in with the email address associated with this event. If you already have zoom, be sure you are running the latest version.
• Adhere to the Event Code of Conduct.

Access instructions will be emailed to you in the days prior to the program. Emails will be sent to the address used for registration and will come directly from Zoom at no-reply@zoom.us and the sender’s name will be LeadingAge New York / FLTC Education.
