Will the sessions be recorded? Are they open to media?
To promote openness of discussion and collaboration, the meeting will follow the Chatham House Rule, meaning event participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.
Invited media representatives will be welcome to attend approved keynote/plenary sessions and the pitch competition. They will not receive access to breakout sessions, side meetings, or networking events to protect the Chatham House Rule.
By registering for and attending the Defense Industrial Base Accelerator, you agree that your image, likeness, voice, and actions may be captured, recorded, edited, and used in any photograph, video, or audio recording taken during the event for promotional, educational, marketing, and other purposes across all media platforms without compensation. You agree to release and hold harmless the organizer, its employees, officers, agents, and contractors from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with the use of media, including any claims for invasion of privacy or defamation.
Are DoW attendees eligible for Continuous Learning Points (CLPs)?
Yes. Government personnel who attend DIBX are eligible to earn 14 Continuous Learning Points (CLPs). DIBX provides acquisition, contracting, small business, and industrial base professionals with a valuable opportunity to advance their knowledge while making meaningful progress toward their continuous learning requirements. Participants will receive documentation of attendance that can be used to claim CLPs through their agencies’ established processes.
