Time Tracking

The ONE scoring application will automatically track your hours when you are logged in and working in ONE and those hours will be used for compensation purposes. The AP® Time Reporting Submission Form should be used for time reporting that falls outside of ONE. It is your responsibility as a Reader or Leader to submit a form for payment when applicable.

The AP Time Reporting Submission Form should be used for:

  • Learning Course training time that has exceeded your credited Estimated Time to complete
  • Reporting hours worked outside of ONE – Table Leaders ONLY
  • Individual technical issues

Scroll down this page for more details about when to use the form.

If you have questions regarding compensable time, please contact ReadAP@ets.org.

Note About Systemwide Outages

You will be compensated automatically for systemwide ONE outages. Do not submit the AP Time Reporting Submission Form for ONE outages.

AP Time Reporting Submission Form Completion Guidelines:

  • Your Raise ID is undefined. Enter this on the first page of the submission form.
  • You must submit a separate AP Time Reporting Submission Form for each instance, even if these instances occur on the same day.
  • Only one form can be submitted at a time.
  • If the second page of the form is blank, you have not entered the correct information on the first page. DO NOT submit a blank form. If you have questions about filling out the form, contact ReadAP@ets.org.
  • Only submit the form(s) after your work has been completed for the day.

Failure to report time via the AP Time Reporting Submission Form may result in incorrect or delayed compensation for this work. In certain instances, an ETS representative may need to follow up with you before your request can be approved.

Note: If a form is submitted after the current Raise work week, payment will be included in the paycheck of the next Raise work week.

Learning Course Training Time Exceeded

All Readers and Leaders are required to complete initial training via the Learning Management System (LMS). Your training time is paid automatically ("credited") based on how long we estimate your training will take. The “My Learning Courses” tab in ONE will display your credited Estimated Time to complete each Learning Course.

  • The “My Progress” window will display a button that Readers can click to see their time spent in ONE:
  • A pop-up will appear that shows cumulative time in ONE, including time spent on training courses:

If you exceed your credited Estimate Time, you will need to complete the AP Time Reporting Submission Form to receive payment for the additional time it took to complete the course. When completing the form, select “additional time needed to complete the Learning Course,” then enter the amount of additional time that was needed, rounded to the nearest quarter hour (e.g., 15 minutes, 45 minutes, etc.). Additional time may not exceed two hours.

Hours Worked Outside of ONE (Table Leaders only)

Table Leaders may be required to work outside of the ONE scoring application during the Pre-Reading and Reading. This may include Zoom™ meetings, developing training materials, reviewing and updating rubrics, or other special projects.

If you completed your work in ONE for the entire day, do not submit this form.

If you completed work outside of ONE, you will need to submit an AP Time Reporting Submission Form. You must submit the total number of hours worked that day, excluding your meal break (hours worked in ONE and the hours worked outside of ONE). Failure to report this time via the AP Time Reporting Submission Form may result in incorrect or delayed compensation for this work.

Individual Technical Issues

If you experience technical issues that prevent you from training and/or scoring, reach out to your Leader by phone, email, or ONE Chat immediately. After informing your Leader of your technical issue, contact Technical Support at 1-855-857-3539. A technician will attempt to resolve your issue and assign you a ticket number. Do not disconnect with the technician until you receive your ticket number.

You will need to complete the AP Time Reporting Submission Form if you experience a compensable technical issue, such as those listed below. You will be required to enter the ticket number when submitting this form. An incorrect or missing ticket number may result in incorrect or delayed compensation.

  • Compensable technical issues:
    • Unable to access the Learning Courses
    • The “Submit Score” button is not working
    • Scoring notes, samples, responses, etc., do not load
    • Audio feature does not work

REMINDER: You will be compensated automatically for systemwide ONE outages and do not need to submit the AP Time Reporting Submission Form.

If you experience an individual technical issue that originates from your end, you will not be compensated for your time resolving the issue. You will not use the AP Time Reporting Submission Form for non-compensable technical issues.

  • Non-compensable technical issues:
    • Internet access unavailable or down
