ATX 2026 Frequently Asked Questions

When and where is ATX?

The event will take place over three full days from Monday, Dec. 7, 2026, through Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2026 and will be held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Who is invited to attend ATX?

All members in good standing are invited and encouraged to attend.

What is the purpose of ATX?

ATX 2026 is built to strengthen our Union at a time when our operational and legislative landscape is shifting fast. We are focusing on direct, personal interaction. Attendees will come together for general sessions and face-to-face talks with the National Executive Board, while selecting their own afternoon breakout classes. By giving local leaders solid facts, bridging gaps between different facilities, and providing direct access to national committees and elected leadership, ATX 2026 clears up rumors, knocks down misconceptions, and builds real nationwide solidarity straight from the line workforce.

What expenses will NATCA cover?

This year, NATCA National will cover expenses as follows:

All Facilities: For you to benefit from the NATCA lodging policy you must make your room reservation at the host hotel according to the information you provide.

The NATCA National budget will fully cover room and tax for participants sharing a room with another dues-paying member for any of the following nights: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (Dec. 6, 7, and 8). If you cannot travel home Wednesday after the last class sessions, please reach out to atx-registration@natca.org to request reimbursement for an additional hotel night.

The NATCA National budget will cover 50 percent of the room and tax for attendees who choose not to share a room. This means that attendees opting for a single-occupancy room will be responsible for paying half of the $144 room rate plus tax for the covered nights.

  • SRF-12 Facilities: In addition to the lodging policy above, the NATCA National budget will cover the below expenses for SRF-12a and SRF-12b facilities incurred for ATX (excluding lunches that will be provided during ATX) in accordance with the NATCA Expense Reimbursement Policy dated January 2026.
  • SRF-12a: 100% of the participant’s airfare* and mileage will be covered by the NATCA National budget. Meals not provided during the event will also be 100% covered by the NATCA National budget, as will the parking and taxis.
  • SRF-12b: 50% of the participant’s airfare* and mileage will be covered by the NATCA National budget with the remaining balance being covered by the member or the Local. Meals not provided during the event will also be 50% covered by the NATCA National budget, as will the parking and taxis, with the remaining balance being covered by the member or the Local.

*Individuals purchasing airline tickets for ATX should attempt to purchase the lowest rate available in economy class. Tickets for ATX shall be purchased no less than seven (7) days prior to the date of travel to be eligible for reimbursement. Members may attend nonconsecutive days of ATX, however, you will only be reimbursed for one (1) round trip airline ticket for ATX attendance under this policy. Additional airfare purchased to attend nonconsecutive days of ATX will be at the expense of the purchaser. Proof of purchase (i.e., the original passenger ticket receipt) must be submitted for reimbursement. The purpose of travel must be indicated, along with an explanation of the official Union business being conducted. NATCA will not reimburse the cost of business or first-class airfare. Travelers may take advantage of upgrades, provided that such upgrades are at no cost to NATCA.

Will meals be provided at ATX?

Yes, lunch will be provided during ATX Monday through Wednesday. Unless otherwise coordinated, breakfasts and dinners will be on your own. Refreshments will be provided at breaks during the day.

Do I have to attend all three days of ATX to be reimbursed for travel?

No. Diverse panels and general sessions will be offered on each of the three days of the conference, so we encourage you to join for as many of these offerings as you can. However, to receive reimbursement for travel, you must attend one full day of ATX sessions.

Will there be duty time or excused absence for travel?

No. Members will need to use appropriate forms of leave or plan to attend on their regular days off.

How do I reserve a room for ATX under the NATCA National Rooming Policy?

The ATX Planning Committee will reserve your room according to the information you provide during the registration process. You will be responsible for any fees incurred for incorrect data you provide during registration (e.g., arrival and departure dates).

Will I be reimbursed for my hotel if I stay at a different property?

No. If you book your hotel room outside of the ATX registration process, you will not be reimbursed for lodging.

I want to share a room with a specific NATCA member. Can I request this through the registration site?

Yes. The registration process will allow you to either input the name of the NATCA member who you want to share a room with, or you can request that we match you with a NATCA member roommate of your same gender. To make a requested roommate pairing successful, both attendees must request to share a room with each other.

Hotel Cancellation Policy:

The host hotel has a strict 72‐hour cancellation policy. If you cancel your reservation, change to a later arrival date, or change your rooming status without modifying your registration online or without contacting the ATX registration team prior to the deadline, you will be charged a fee of one night’s lodging.

NOTE: If you are within the 72-hour cancellation period and modify your rooming status from single to double or double to single, resulting in an empty room or half of a room, you will be charged a fee for a full or half room night.

When will I receive a hotel confirmation number?

You can expect to receive your hotel confirmation number about two weeks before the event.

If you have any additional questions, please email atx-registration@natca.org

What is the Conference Attire?
