Overview

Notice of 39th Annual General Meeting of CFA Society Singapore 

1. To confirm and adopt the Minutes of the 38th Annual General Meeting convened on 12 November 2024. (Attachment 1)
   
2. To confirm and adopt the Annual Report and the Audited Financial Statements of the Society for the financial year ended 30 June 2025. (Attachment 2)
   
3. To consider and approve changes to the Society Constitution arising from the CFA Institute's new membership classes, including the creation of the new Associate membership class. (Attachment 3a & Attachment 3b)
   
4. To elect or re-elect up to seven Board Members for a two-year term. (Attachment 4)
   
5. To appoint Auditors of CFA Society Singapore for the financial year ending 30 June 2026 and until the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting, at a remuneration to be agreed upon between the Board of Directors and the Auditors.
   
   
6. To transact such other ordinary business as may be properly transacted at an ordinary general meeting.

Important Notes

1. Members who wish to receive the notice and meeting papers via ordinary mail should contact agm@cfasocietysingapore.org or call 6323-6679.

2. Nominees for Board Election shall be recommended by the Nominating Committee subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.  Any Regular Member may submit additional written nominations (via attached prescribed Nomination Form) for the Board of Directors by meeting the following criteria:

a) the nominee is sponsored in writing by at least 20% of the total number of Regular Members or 30 Regular Members, whichever is the lesser;

b) written consent from the nominee has been obtained; and

c) documents supporting both a) and b) are submitted to the CFA Society Singapore secretariat at agm@cfasocietysingapore.org at least 14 days before the Annual General  Meeting, by 28 October 2025, 5:00pm SGT.

3. Regular members are entitled to vote on the resolution and election of Board Members via Proxy Form. Proxy Forms will be made available at CFA Society Singapore's website www.cfasocietysingapore.org by 4 November 2025.

- reject any unverifiable or invalid registrations.
