Planning is underway for the 2026 Annual Conference:  Recovery Courts:  Where Justice Treatment and Recovery Meet:  New England Strong, Meeting the Moment. The conference is scheduled to take place November 18 & 19, 2026 at the Doubletree by Hilton, Danvers, MA. You are invited to help shape the event by submitting a session proposal! 

We are excited to be bringing together Recovery Court practitioners and community partners across the New England region for an engaging and educational event, highlighting national speakers and local presenters.

About the New England Association of Recovery Court Professionals (NEARCP)

The NEARCP is a nonprofit consortium of recovery court professionals from six states (Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine). Our purpose is to: 

  • Address critical current and emerging issues confronting recovery courts through high-quality training and technical assistance.
  • Promote regional coordination and partnerships to address challenges common in New England recovery courts and develop responsive pro-active policies and practices.
  • Provide a central forum and repository of resources relevant to the development, operation, and administration of drug treatment courts.

Conference Goal  

We will bring together justice professionals, treatment/recovery specialists, and community partners to identify principles and practical solutions that will strengthen the region’s response to substance use disorder and facilitate the expansion of recovery and specialty courts.

Sessions have typically been 90 minutes in length.

 

We welcome the submission of session proposals and appreciate your interest in contributing. Please note that we are unable to provide stipends for proposals that are accepted.
