Visible Learning Ambassador Hybrid Certification

What works best to ensure learning?  The Visible Learning evidence base has the answer.  Based on over 2100 meta-analysis representing more than 300 million students, we know how to ensure that the learning experiences designed for students have an impact.  And we can document that impact.  If this appeals to you, the Visible Learning Ambassador Certification is for you.  This experience provides you the skills and knowledge to lead your colleagues on the Visible Learning journey.  We’ll explore the School Capability Assessment, the Visible Learning database, and key ideas from Visible Learning, including evidencing impact, assessment-capable visible learners who drive their own learning, and the role of feedback in the learning process.

PLEASE NOTE: As this certification is a more advanced training on how to teach back the concepts of Visible Learning, Corwin will require each participant to engage in a handful of pre-work activities such as watching videos, reading book excerpts, and/or blogs and articles prior to attending the certification event. It will be imperative that you understand the basic foundational concepts of Visible Learning to successfully become certified in this work. Details on accessing the pre-work will be provided prior to the training. There will also be a homework assignment on the first night of the training that participants will need to complete and be prepared to discuss on the second day of training.

$2,450 per person to attend virtually via Zoom

$3,225 per person to attend in person

Must be employed by a School System, County Office of Education or Education Service Agency to participate. Visible Learning Ambassador Certification license is good for three years from the date of the training and is eligible for renewal.

$100 discount for groups of 3 or more

Learning Intention: 

• We are extending our understanding of the implications of embracing the Visible Learning evidence.

Success Criteria:

• I can explain the Visible Learning evidence base and the ways in which effect sizes contribute to the evidence.
• I can describe the key messages from the Visible Learning evidence base.
• I can determine the impact of specific strategies on students’ learning.
• I can self-assess my school or district using the School Capability Assessment and develop an action plan to improve our performance.
