Joy in the Journey
Inspired by President Thomas S. Monson’s classic message: “Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family.”
The entire conference centers on discovering the higher, lasting joy that comes from centering our lives on Jesus Christ—through covenants, service, relationships, trials, and daily discipleship (see also 2 Nephi 2:25 and recent teachings from Elders Uchtdorf and Stevenson).
Every session, activity, and moment is designed to help the 300–350 participants feel God’s love, build lasting friendships, strengthen testimonies, and leave excited to continue their gospel journey with greater joy.

VENUE
Pearl River Community College (PRCC) offers several on-campus residence halls for students, including dedicated options likeForrest, Lamar, Moody, and Holden Halls. (including a meal plan). New, modern housing options such as the Ritter House (185+ residents) were recently added to support on-campus living.
Living on Campus
- Amenities: Rooms generally include two beds, desks, and storage space.
- Costs: As of 2026, the housing/food expense for on-campus living is included in the cost estimation.
- Safety/Support: The campus provides Resident Assistant (RA) staff for support.
