The days gradually getting longer and warmer here in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York remind us that spring is not far off, and that we are just a few short months away from one of our favorite times of year here at Cornell…Fred Scott Feline Symposium time!

This year’s 36^th hybrid (in-person and virtual) iteration of what has become widely known as a premier feline veterinary continuing education experience promises to live up to and exceed the high expectations that we always set for ourselves on behalf of our dedicated attendees.

With keynote presentations by Dr. Jody Lulich, director of the Minnesota Urolith Center and world renowned expert on feline nephrology and urology, and informative sessions that will include common feline toxicities, the rapidly evolving world of feline coronaviruses, advances in feline perianesthetic pain management, and pathology Show and Tell sessions (a Cornell tradition) provided by Cornell experts, we are confident that this year’s program will be informative, fun, and unique for all attendees.

As always, we will round out our educational sessions with opportunities to have fun and connect with your in-person colleagues, including a wine and cheese reception, full dinner with live music, chair massages in our “Kneading Station”, and guided yoga/relaxation sessions for both in-person and virtual attendees. Our goal is to provide a unique, fun, and educational experience in a relaxed atmosphere, and whether you join us in person (our preference) or virtually, you can rest assured that we have left no stone unturned in our efforts to provide attendees with a weekend that will educate and enrich them.

We are, once again, proud and honored to invite veterinary students from around the world to join us virtually free of charge, and we also welcome veterinary technicians to join us at a discounted rate, so please spread the word. We know how important these groups are to our profession, and we are happy to celebrate with and educate them as we all strive to improve veterinary care for our feline friends throughout the world.
