Content to Expect

The Fall Institute will center on the theme of prosperity: how we build education and workforce systems that help young people move towards prosperous futures in the ways they define for themselves. Together we will explore how we design systems so students move seamlessly between learning and work. Pathways should ensure that every experience, credential, and opportunity keeps doors open for what’s next, rather than narrowing a young person’s options too soon.

Through practitioner-led and informed breakout sessions, visionary and research-backed plenaries, and structured team time, Institute participants engage with content that centers practical strategies, emerging innovations, policy and systems alignment, and learner-centered approaches that strengthen pathways.

Who Should Attend

State and regional teams made up of cross-sector partners, representing K-12 education, postsecondary education, and workforce, engaged collaborating on shared goals and strategic planning and advancing pathways in their contexts

K-12 leaders including superintendents, CTE directors, high school principals, and other leaders responsible for college and career readiness, work-based learning, dual enrollment, advising, and employer partnerships

Postsecondary leaders including community college presidents and vice presidents, deans of workforce, guided pathways leaders, department chairs in high-demand fields, directors of dual enrollment, and other leaders overseeing career services and employer engagement 

Workforce leaders including state and local workforce board executives and program directors responsible for K-12 and postsecondary education strategies, work-based learning, apprenticeships, regional labor strategies, and employer engagement

State and local government leaders, including policymakers and agency staff responsible for setting strategy, policy, and investment for pathways, CTE, work-based learning, career navigation, and related college- and career-preparation initiatives
