Event Overview
The National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and the NBCC Foundation (NBCCF) are pleased to invite you to join us for two upcoming professional development events.
For the first time, these two respected events will be brought together in New Orleans, Louisiana, to create one dynamic learning experience for Counseling professionals, Counselor Educators, Counseling students, supervisors, and other leaders in the profession.
The 2027 NBCCF Bridging the Gap Symposium, hosted by NBCCF in collaboration with NBCC, will take place as a pre-conference event on February 22–23, 2027. The Symposium emphasizes NBCCF's dedication to providing professional counselors with high-quality, accessible continuing education in areas such as workforce development, leadership, and community building.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend engaging sessions covering topics on law, ethics, professional practice, and emerging issues in counseling. This conference also offers the opportunity to connect with professional colleagues from across the country.
Participants can register for Symposium only, the Law and Ethics Conference only, or a combined package for both events.
Symposium will be held live and in person only, while the Law and Ethics Conference will be available both in person and online (synchronous).
