What are the registration fees for the conference?

Conference registration is $475

Is there a discounted rate for families, youth, or self-advocates?

Yes, the conference registration fee is $200

Is there a virtual or hybrid attendance option, or is this an in-person only event?

The Texas Transition Conference is an in-person only event. There are no virtual, recorded, or hybrid attendance options available.

What is the registration deadline?

How do I modify my registration?

There is a link on the registration confirmation email you received after registering: "modify my registration". 

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

All registrations are non-refundable. You may transfer your registration to another individual by emailing ttcfinance@tamu.edu no later than Friday, January 22

Can I bring a guest?

No, everyone attending the conference must register and pay a registration fee. 

Will the sessions be recorded?

No, we will not be recording any of the keynote or breakout sessions.

Will there be a special group rate for this year’s conference?

No, there are no special group rates for the conference this year.

How do TWC Professionals register?

Reach out to the state office for guidance. They'll provide you with the necessary details to register for the conference.

Payment & Purchase Orders

How do I submit my purchase order?

When is the deadline to submit a purchase order?

Purchase orders must be submitted by Friday, January 8th.
Registrations without a received purchase order by this date will be canceled.

Where can I find your W-9 form?

Download a copy of our W-9 to set up Texas A&M University as a vendor in your payment system.

How and when will my district or organization receive the invoice?

Texas A&M University finance generates invoices through a weekly process upon receiving your purchase order, so it may take some time to receive it. Invoices are sent exclusively by email to the billing contact provided during registration; paper invoices are not mailed. If your organization is new to the TAMU system, you will receive an email requesting additional vendor setup information before the invoice can be generated.

Can our district submit one combined purchase order for multiple attendees?

Yes. All individuals covered by the purchase order must first complete their individual registrations. Once everyone is registered, submit a single purchase order that clearly lists each attendee's first and last name.

What payment methods are accepted for paying an invoice?

Specific payment instructions and accepted options will be detailed directly on your invoice. If paying by check, the check must include the invoice number and be mailed to the address specified on the invoice. Checks should not be sent prior to receiving the official invoice.

What happens if my purchase order is not submitted by the deadline?

All purchase orders must be submitted by Friday, January 8, 2027. Any registrations without a received and verified purchase order by this date will be canceled.

Speakers

What should I do after my proposal is accepted?

Selected speakers must officially acknowledge their intent to present by Friday, October 9, 2026.

Do speakers still need to register?

Yes. All accepted presenters and co-presenters (breakout sessions, panels, roundtables, and poster sessions) must register for the conference by Friday, November 20, 2026, pay the standard registration fee, and cover their own travel expenses.

Do speakers receive free or discounted registration?

No. All accepted presenters and co-presenters pay the standard registration fee and are responsible for their own travel and registration expenses.

What is the registration deadline for Speakers?

All accepted speakers and co-presenters must complete their conference registration by Friday, November 20, 2026.
