African American Alumni Association: Connections and Conversations
Thursday, Nov. 19, 2026 | 6–8 p.m.
Join us for an evening of meaningful connections, mentorship, and community at AAAA’s Connections and Conversations.
The evening will begin with a fireside chat featuring Khris Riddick-Tynes ’13, J.D. ’22, a Grammy-winning songwriter, producer, and creative executive whose work has helped shape the sound and direction of modern R&B and helped elevate the visions of artists including SZA, Kehlani, Ariana Grande, and Drake. Moderated by a current LMU student, the conversation will explore Khris' journey from the bluff to the music industry and the lessons he's learned along the way.
Following the fireside chat, alumni will have the opportunity to connect with current students during a networking reception. Students are eager to learn from alumni experiences, seek career guidance, and expand their professional networks. Your participation can make a lasting impact on students as they prepare for life after LMU.
We hope you'll join us in supporting the next generation of Lions while strengthening our African American alumni community.
