Description
In this two‑part series led by Lynn Pencek, dental hygienists will explore why implant‑care recommendations aren’t one‑size‑fits‑all—because the answer is often “it depends.”
Grounded in current evidence, the course provides a clear framework for evaluating patient risk and peri‑implant tissue status while delivering safe, selective biofilm removal with minimally invasive techniques. Participants will review American College of Prosthodontists’ full‑arch maintenance guidelines and gain practical insight into tools such as airflow, ultrasonics, polishing systems, manual instrumentation, desiccation therapy, and Perioscopy.
This series replaces outdated implant‑maintenance myths with modern, evidence‑based strategies—helping clinicians build confidence and improve long‑term patient outcomes.
