Temple Grandin is a professor of animal science at Colorado State University. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Temple was an autistic child with all the signs of sever autism by the age of two. Many hours of speech therapy, and intensive teaching enabled Temple to learn speech. As a teenager, life was difficult as she endured constant teasing. Inspired by her high school science teacher and her aunt on her ranch in Arizona, Dr. Grandin decided to study and pursue a career as a scientist and livestock equipment designer. Join us, as Dr. Grandin shares her experiences and insights.
