This interactive 3-day module will provide you with an excellent understanding of what dental implant therapy is about, who is a suitable patient for such treatment, what are the risk factors and how to treatment plan and work-up a case for dental implant therapy.

We will cover the biology of healing and osseointegration relating to the interface between the implant surface and soft and hard tissues. The participants will gain understanding of best practices in atraumatic extraction protocols and ridge preservation. You will also practice how to carry out ridge preservation on a model which you can implement in your daily work flow immediately.

The module will focus on pre-treatment diagnosis, identify key principals, objective clinical parameters relevant to patient selection and treatment planning within implant dentistry. This will provide you with an excellent understanding and give you a blue print for systematic assessment of your patient to determine whether this case is suitable for you. Medical assessment and management of medical emergencies is also covered. Beyond this, participants will gain understanding of basic dental photography to document and present cases.

The participants will learn how to start the digital transformation of their practice with the workshop on introduction to DTX implant treatment planning software.
