This 25.0 Hour EMS Refresher Course is intended for:

• EMT's and AEMT's needing to renew state and or NREMT Basic certifications
• EMT or AEMT Students who need a state-approved refresher for remediation
• EMT's, Advanced EMT's, or Paramedics  needing continuing education hours   

Content, Delivery, and Intent

• National EMS Education Standards and Scope of Practice 
• NREMT 2016 National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) and refresher guidelines
• TN's EMS Pediatric and category hours requirements   
• AHA CPR Provider Update (renewal)     
• Basic and AEMT Skills       
• CISD/CISM Updates     
• Domestic Violence Updates     
• Led by EMS subject matter experts 
• Delivered live, on-site, in two, 12-hour blocks in an environment conducive to quality, non-intimidating education techniques designed to assist the participant to absorb valuable information
• Intent is to enhance knowledge and skills in an effort to improve patient care outcomes.  

Course Dates

• February 7 & 8, 2020, 0800 hours -  2000 hours (8am - 8pm) Central Time.

Continuing Education Hours are approved through both the Tennessee Division of EMS and  The Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE), formerly CECBEMS,  the national accrediting body for EMS continuing education courses and course providers.
