Gain new insights and develop strategies to strengthen civic and history education in your school in each of the Civic Learning Institute!

Courses. Our four-week mini-courses uniquely integrate exercises to improve both your content knowledge and pedagogical skills in history and civics. Courses are designed to be about 10 hours of synchronous and asynchronous learning and are fully online. (Note: Live sessions are not recorded.) Each course is aligned with the Roadmap to Educating for American Democracy. Participants who complete a full course will receive a certificate from Harvard.

Workshops. Our scheduled workshops are 90 minutes each and cover topics about how to bring high-quality civic learning to your learning space. Each workshop is offered online. (Note: Workshops are not recorded.) Participants who complete a workshop will receive a certificate from Harvard.
