Overview

At Pre-Bee, first-year students will have an exciting opportunity to  connect with fellow SCAD Bees before the fall quarter officially begins.  This immersive program offers a meaningful introduction to SCAD’s  creative community through engaging art and design workshops that  inspire collaboration and creative growth. It’s the perfect way to build  lasting friendships and get a head start on your SCAD journey.

Throughout the program, you’ll take part in hands-on workshops,  off-campus excursions, and guided explorations of SCAD’s world-class  facilities, resources, and libraries. Workshops feature live  demonstrations and studio practice, while excursions immerse you in the  city’s vibrant arts scene. Each activity is led by SCAD professors and staff, ensuring a rich, engaging experience—complete with daily social  events that offer an authentic taste of life as a SCAD student.

Stroll through Savannah's verdant squares, take in the city's historic  architecture, and prepare for a successful first quarter. Curated for  new incoming SCAD Savannah students, this week-long experience helps new  Bees get familiar with university life, the city, and vibrant SCAD  spaces.
